HARDSIDE WATERBED COVERS
Hardside waterbed covers completely enclose your watermattress. The top is removable for cleaning and has a liner built into the cover which eliminates the need to purchase one seperately. It is shown here with the plush pillow top option. It is also available with a standard quilted top at a lower cost.

WATERBED SHEET SETS
If you have shopped at all for waterbed sheets I'm sure you have found sheets in a large range of pricing. Let me give a short explaination of what alters the price of linens. 1.The thread count. The thread count is the number of threads in a square inch of material. A 200 thread count or higher is a tight enough weave to where shrinking is unlikely. A 180 thread count or less is a looser weave which allows room for the material to pull together causing the shrinking effect. 2.The cut. How wide the sheets are cut can also alter the price. When the manufacturer uses only enough material to reach the sides of your bed, subsequently the price is lower. Less material used, lower cost. 3. Whatmaterial are they using? Lower priced sheets often have a high percentage of polyester which keeps the price down. We recommend sheets with at least 50% cotton content.
There are some instances where you may get a bargain because of a special purchase or the factory is offering a lower price on a discontinued fabric. In most cases the old saying holds true - you get what you pay for. dw

FAQ: Why are futons so uncomfortable? A. Getting a well made futon mattress that is 8 inches thick or more will solve that problem immediately. We offer a lineup of more than a dozen futons for you to choose from. These are manufactured in America by Gold Bond. A leader in the industry. The quality of the futon and the type of frame used can increase or decrease the price of the package substantially. -dw
Sheet prices include the fitted bottom sheet and oversized top sheet that are attached at the foot of the bed. Queen and King sizes include 2 pillow cases. Super Single size includes 1 pillow case.

We always recommend using a hardwood futon frame for durability. We have a large selection of hardwood frame styles to choose from in a variety of color options.
Finish your futon purchase with an optional zip on futon cover. We have dozens to choose from in a wide range of fabrics, solids, and prints.
PORTLAND
The PORTLAND frame is a handsome addition to your sitting room or guest room. The extra strength seat and back are made from SOLID OAK and make for long lasting comfort. Additionally, the stretchers are made with one solid piece instead of multi piece 'finger joints' as is done on lower priced frames. Create a theme by choosing from over 100 futon covers. SLEIGH ARM

The material it is made from, how much of that material is used, and the quality of mattresses you choose will alter the price significantly. - dw

Softsided waterbeds can vary in price in many ways. This can get confusing but I will try to simplify it. They are available in different water depths and some do not require heaters. Over the years I have found that 3 main determining factors will change the price of a softsided bed.
1. THE COVER. Covers come in either a standard quilt, a deep quilt, or a pillow top. the quality of the fabric used, the thickness of the quilting, what they stuff it with, and whether the top is removable or not considerably alter the price.
2. THE FOAM RAILS. Quality of foam can vary greatly and can affect the comfort of the bed if you sleep near an edge.
3. THE WATER MATTRESS. The amount of wave reduction can also change the price. Slow motion mattresses are firmer and more costly because they are fully baffled by using a fiber batting inside the mattress. Semi waveless or full motion beds are less costly because they use less batting. Less material - less money.
